Ministry means service to God and others. Ministry is the responsibility of all. Our ministries are any activity by an individual Christian which furthers the work and purpose of Jesus Christ and is done for the glory of God. It helps us express and share our faith. Everyone has special gifts from God and we encourage all parishioners to participate in a ministry at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (Nativity).

Some ministries are identified as formal ministries such as deacons. Some are informal. Some ministries are directed towards members of the church, and some to the wider community who are not members of the church.
