FOOD DISTRIBUTION: Saint Vincent de Paul food distribution, Saturday, February 17, 2024, Nativity Parish Hall, 1PM to 3PM

LENTEN FOOD DRIVE: The St. Vincent de Paul Society at Nativity distributes food to over 100 needy families in our Parish and community. The parish food pantry shelves are now bare. We are asking for your assistance to restock the pantry with nonperishable food during Lent. We are seeking unexpired canned meats, beans, and vegetables as well as four, cereal, small bottles of cooking oil plus small packages of pasta, rice and beans. Please deliver your donations to the Parish Faith Formation Office at any time the office is open or you may use the black baskets located in the southwest corner of the Church. The donations will be taken to the pantry and distributed to the needy in our Parish and community. Thank you for your donations and support of this important ministry!

PARISH PASTORAL CARE: While Father Chike is gone, the deacons will provide support to the community for weekday communion service, including the Tuesday night service at Mt. Carmel. They will also provide baptisms, weddings, and funerals while he is gone. Father Nathan will listen to confessions on Saturdays at 3 pm and offer the 4 pm Saturday Mass, as well as the 7:30 am and 9:00 am Masses on Sunday. Father Juan will offer weekend Mass at 10:35 am and 12:30 pm on Sundays. If you are in need of a priest for anointing or confessions outside the normal schedule, please call the office and we will arrange for a priest to help. Please do not call the office for Fr. Juan’s or Fr. Nathan’s phone number or e-mail. Your patience and understanding are appreciated!

MINISTRY TO THE HOMELESS: If you would like to serve a daily meal to the homeless or prepare a monthly casserole at the Good Shepherd Center, the only Catholic homeless shelter in Albuquerque, please contact Deacon Michael at 505-340-0422 or [email protected]. Opportunities are also available to collect men’s clothes, including socks and underwear for the Center.

PARISH REGISTRATION: This is a reminder, if you are registered as a family for Catechism, that DOES NOT mean that you are registered in the Parish. Also, there are many benefits to registering in the Parish. Please contact the office to register or to check on your registration.

CLEANING THE CHURCH: The Altar Society will be cleaning the Church the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to help the Altar Society with this labor of love. Please bring cleaning mops or dusters. We thank you for your help!
