PALM SUNDAY AND THE TRIDUUM SCHEDULE

Palm Sunday the day we celebrate Jesustriumphant entry into Jerusalem. And also the beginning of Holy Week. Please join us for all of our TRIDUUM services:

  • Palm Sunday Masses will follow our regular Sunday Mass - 7:30 AM, 9:00AM, 10:45AM, 12:30PM
  • Holy Thursday Mass of the Last Supper at 7:00 PM
  • Office of Readings for Good Friday 8:30 AM
  • Good Friday Stations of the Cross 9:00 AM
  • Good Friday Service at 12:15 PM
  • Office of Readings for Holy Saturday 8:30 AM
  • Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday at 7:30 PM
  • Easter Sunday Masses will follow our regular Sunday Mass - 7:30 AM, 9:00AM, 10:45AM, 12:30PM

LENTEN BOOKS: LENTEN BOOKS: Lenten books will be on sale for $2.00 after each Mass the weekend of February 3rd and 4th.
LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS:

Lenten Soup Suppers will be held after Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent, beginning at 5:30 pm. Anyone is invited to bring a soup even if you are not a member of the ministries. Help our ministries with this important Lenten service. Come join us for Lenten fellowship!

  • Altar Society, March 8th
  • Mass Ministries (Lectors, Homebound Ministers, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers), March 15th
  • Knights of Columbus, March 22nd
STATIONS OF THE CROSS:

We will be having Stations of the Cross in the Church every Friday at 5:30 pm. Everyone is invited! The next one on February 23rd will be led by the Confirmation Class! Please take a few minutes to remember the suffering of our Lord on the Cross.

GARDEN AND CHAPEL FOR LENT:

St. Anne’s Chapel and the Stations Garden will be open during Parish Office hours for the Lenten Season for private prayer and adoration.

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING UP FOR LENT?:

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING UP FOR LENT?: Why don’t you add something? This year, we will be having a small group book study of Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist by Dr. Brant Pitre. We have several dates and times available. If you would like to be part of this study group, please contact Nicole at 505-340-0421 or ngarcia@n-bvm.org. You MUST pre-register, as space is limited. We will not allow any walk-ins. The book study will run from the week of February 19th to April 8th

LENTEN FOOD DRIVE

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at Nativity distributes food to over 100 needy families in our Parish and community. The parish food pantry shelves are now bare. We are asking for your assistance to restock the pantry with  onperishable food during Lent. We are seeking unexpired canned meats, beans, and vegetables as well as four, cereal, small bottles of cooking oil plus small packages of pasta, rice and beans. Please deliver your donations to the Parish Faith Formation Ofce at any time the ofce is open or you may use the black baskets located in the southwest corner of the Church. The donations will be taken to the pantry and distributed to the needy in our Parish and community. Thank you.
