Faith Formation - RCIA

Our parish offers the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) as our process to bring adults into full communion with the Church. This process is available for people who have not been baptized, people originally baptized into other faiths as well as people baptized Catholic but never catechized in the faith. This includes people who were raised in other faiths or those who never attended any kind of faith formation.

This is a faith formation program for adults that begins on 12 September 2017 and culminates with reception into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Classes meet from 7 – 9 pm each Tuesday in the Pastoral Center and focus on all aspects of the Catholic faith to include, the seven Sacraments, our belief in the transubstantiation during the sacrament of the Eucharist, the communion of saints, our veneration of the Blessed Mother and many other aspects of particular interest to the Catholic faith.

Our program is run by Mr Dave Deis, a wonderfully experienced catechist who has been teaching the RCIA curriculum for over 25 years! His rich faith and ability to explain the faith make him a perfect candidate to accomplish this program.
