Faith Formation - RCIA

Our parish offers the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) as our process to bring adults and children over the age of 7 into full communion with the Church. This process is available for people who have not been baptized, people originally baptized into other faiths as well as people baptized Catholic but never catechized in the faith. This includes people who were raised in other faiths or those who never attended any kind of faith formation.

This faith formation program begins on 15 September 2019 and culminates with reception into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 8:45 – 11 am or from 6:30 – 8 pm each Tuesday in the Parish hall. They focus on all aspects of the Catholic faith to include, the seven Sacraments, our belief in the transubstantiation during the sacrament of the Eucharist, the communion of saints, our veneration of the Blessed Mother and many other aspects of particular interest to the Catholic faith.

Our program is run by Michelle Montez, a wonderfully experienced catechist who has many years of formation experience and is well versed in all of the RCIA documents! Her rich faith and ability to lead and explain the faith to a team of RCIA ministers make her a perfect candidate to accomplish this program.
