Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic School

Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary School is a Catholic Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, early childhood education. Enrollment is approximately 20 students. There is only one class consisting of both Pre-K and K (ages 4 and 5). The typical school day is from 8 am to 3 pm. On the first Friday of the month, the school is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Nativity strives to provide a well-rounded education for its students. This is a very special time for four Pre-K and K as they are growing and learning rapidly. Students learn the traditions of the Catholic Faith through daily instruction, prayers, Bible stories and religious songs, thus developing their spirituality. The students develop social skills like getting along with other and learning school rules. Additionally, students participate in PE and Library class.
The new Nativity School originated from requests for a Catholic Pre-K and K by Nativity parishioners. The parish, under the direction of Rev. Juan Mendez and Most Rev. Archbishop Michael Sheehan decided to open an early childhood education community.
The school started in fall of 2000.
Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic School will provide early childhood development in a Jesus centered environment.
