Eucharistic Minister

Eucharistic Minister -This ministry (extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion) makes a positive contribution to the celebration of Eucharist and the pastoral care of sick. Eucharistic Ministers distribute Holy Communion during weekend liturgies and special feast days. They serve the worshipping community by bringing them the true presence of Jesus Christ in the consecrated body and blood of our Lord.

Becoming a Eucharistic Minister

We welcome new Eucharistic ministers throughout the year. Training sessions are generally held in the church. If you are interested in serving as a Eucharistic minister, please contact the office at (505) 898-5253, Ext 0 for the date of the next training session.

REMINDER FOR EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

One of your assigned duties is to assist the Head Minister after Mass with the collection.  It is the ruling of the Archdiocese that no one should handle the collection alone.  Therefore we ask all three persons to come to the sacristy, place the collection from the basket into the plastic bag, seal the bag and place it in the locked closet.  Then sign your name on the designated paper.
